Deep Tissue Massage

Service Description

This Course is designed to enhance your skills as a massage therapist by adding deep tissue techniques to your existing massage routine. Deep tissue massage is designed to loosen muscle tension and relieve stress. An added benefit of such massage is that it can smooth out scar tissue. The focus is on connective tissues and the deepest layers of muscle mass in the body. You will be learning new techniques such as kneading and inhibition and revising the muscles of the back. The workshop will be practical based as well as addressing the theory side of the techniques throughout the day. You will be assessed at the end of the day with an observation of your techniques by your tutor. If you do not hold a body massage qualification, you will need to carry out our Swedish Body Massage Course first. You will receive full ongoing support and mentoring after your training. Duration- 1 day Pre Requisites - Body Massage or equivalent Model Required - You will need to provide your own model . The model will be required from 11 am onwards (they are welcome to attend with you) Qualifications- Deep Tissue Massage Awarding Body - Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) Total Price- £195 (including £100 booking fee - please see T&C's) You will receive: Step by Step Manual Fully Insurable ABT Accredited Certificates Please contact us if the scheduled dates are not suitable for you.
