Service Description

After many years of running these courses separately, we realised that many therapists are confused how to correctly integrate gel polish application within their manicure and pedicure services. Incorrect integration can cause issues with gel polish adhering to the nail plate which can result in a breakdown of service. This course is an intensive course. You will be sent pre course reading and a short question and answer theory paper to complete for attending. This will allow us to spend as much of the training day as possible carrying out the practical work. All products are provided for your use during this course. Course Contents History and benefits of Manicures and Pedicures Products and Equipment required Contraindications Consultations Hygiene and Health & Safety Anatomy and Physiology Nail diseases and disorders Manicure Procedures Pedicure Procedures Massage Routine Nail Filing and Shaping Cuticle Work Polish Application Gel Polish Nail Preparation Gel Polish Application Gel Polish Removal Aftercare and Advice Duration- 1 day. Course runs from 10am-3pm - Model required on day Pre Requisites - This Course is suitable for a complete beginner. Model Required - You will need to provide your own model . The model will be required from 10.30 am onwards (she is welcome to attend with you) and will need to have natural nails, free of any products on both her hands and feet. Qualifications- Manicure Procedures, Pedicure Procedures, Gel Polish Application. Awarding Body - Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) Total Price- £295 (including £100 booking fee) You will receive: Step by Step Manual Fully Insurable ABT Accredited Certificates Please contact us if the scheduled dates are not suitable for you.
