Service Description

This therapy is performed on the feet using special manipulations with varying degrees of pressure. It is based on the principal that there are reflex zones in the feet which are linked by energy pathways to corresponding parts of the body and, when pressure is applied, it stimulates the movement of energy along these pathways. Reflexology is the practice of applying pressure to specific points on the feet and hands to influence the health of corresponding body parts. This provides your client with a relaxing and healing treatment. This course is the perfect introduction into Reflexology and is suitable for a complete beginner or for an existing therapist. Course Contents History of Reflexology What is Reflexology Structure of the foot How to carry out full consultation Contra-indications Divisions of feet and areas of the body How to set up for the treatment Reflexology techniques Relaxation techniques Reflexology procedure Contractions to Reflexology Aftercare and Advice Duration- Self guided pre course work and 1 day practical training Day one 10 am to 3 pm Pre Requisites - This Course is suitable for a complete beginner. Model Required - You will need to provide your own model . The model will be required from 11 am onwards (they are welcome to attend with you) Qualifications- Reflexology Awarding Body - Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) Total Price- £275 (including £100 booking fee) You will receive: Step by Step Manual Fully Insurable ABT Accredited Certificates Please contact us if the scheduled dates are not suitable for you.
