Service Description

A Massage is a wonderful treatment designed to relieve tension and stress. It has become more popular within the beauty industry and is used in a combination of ways within other treatments such as manicure, pedicure and Indian head massage. Prior to the training, we send you some pre course reading. This will be reacapped on your training day but allows us to do as much practical work as possible. You will be taken through the process of massage, covering the massage movements, client care and contraindications. Our class sizes are small, never more than 3 students, which allows you to get the most out of your training experience with hands on training with an experienced tutor. This course is ideal for complete beginners. You will receive full ongoing support and mentoring after your training. Course Contents Relevant Human Anatomy & Physiology (home study required) The History & Benefits Of Massage Health & Safety Professional Ethics & Client Records Client Care Contra-indications & Contra-actions How to select massage medium Correct Massage Procedure & Preparation Of Client Correct Posture For Therapist Aftercare Advice Duration- Self guided pre course work and 1 day practical training Pre Requisites - This Course is suitable for a complete beginner. Model Required - You will need to provide your own model . The model will be required from 11 am onwards (they are welcome to attend with you) Qualifications- Swedish Body Massage Awarding Body - Associated Beauty Therapists (ABT) Total Price- £275 (including £100 booking fee) You will receive: Step by Step Manual Fully Insurable ABT Accredited Certificates Please contact us if the scheduled dates are not suitable for you. We will always try our best to accommodate you. On-Going Support is part of your training with us. CANCELLATION POLICY If you are unable to attend the course booked you must let us know a minimum of 7 day before the course date or your payment will not be refunded.
